Curtis’ technology career started in 1999 just before the world was about to end. Fortunately for all his hard work, the technology world was saved from the new millennium. All joking aside, Curtis started his career testing desktops and servers for Y2K compliance at a health district and has since accumulated experience across various industries, including Manufacturing, Retail, Government, Life Sciences, and primarily Transportation and Logistics, specializing in TMW TruckMate. During his career, he’s held several leadership roles, the most recently and longest as the Director of Technology at Grimshaw Trucking, part of the Mullen Group, where he led his team to win multiple awards, including back-to-back PeopleNet Innovator of the Year Awards for Canadian Fleets in 2015 and 2016, and the TMW Innovator of the Year Award in 2016. His primary technological interests lie in mobile computing, bridging technology with business, and emerging data modeling and integration technologies.

When Curtis has some down time, you will find him spending it with his family and socializing with his circle of close friends. Whether it is enjoying a pint or an Old Fashioned around a bonfire while listening to hits from the 80’s & 90’s, or rocking out on the drums with his bandmates prepping for the next gig, music and the company of family and friends are a big part of his life.
